Welcome back everyone! I was very pleased to see such a great turnout for our first membership meeting of the year. I know most of our members have their boats in the water and a few left to be launched.

Those at the membership meeting learned about the plans the Bridge implemented this season. For those who were not able to attend the meeting I want to refer you to the Vice Commodore’s Russell Marcks in-depth report in the News Section.

Don’t forget to RSVP for your tickets for the June 8 Social. P/C Melanie Hitch helped to organize and will be handling the reservations for the perch dinner. The scheduled speaker after the dinner is Scott Matthews’s Grandson Bob Reynolds. He will present the story of his Grandfather’s building the yacht Onward, and it being the first recreational yacht completing the Great Loop. I saw the presentation once and can’t wait to hear it again. It is fascinating adventure that all boaters will enjoy.
